Well this afternoon my family and I decided on
breakfast for lunch. Having a 1 year old kind
of slows the routine. I had heard of a wonderful place in the Seattle area called Patty's eggnest.
Just so happens that there was one in the South Everett Wa area. Not not wanting to pass up a chance at a review quoted "best breakfast", I was there. From past experiences I have realized
some breakfasts are like samplers of what an establishment has to offer. I know that menu special boards are a good way to go. So I took a glimpse at the single pink printed page in the middle of my menu and decided the "Big Ol' Country Fried Steak breakfast was what my heart desired. I was treated with a fairly large steak. Thicker than I had experienced in the past but nonetheless Tasty. I haven't figured out if these are food service purchased steaks or hand made in the back, Almost positive its the latter because it was tender and juicy with the right amount of crunch in the breading. The sausage gravy was a pleasure with real pork sausage chunks and a milky smooth texture. The sizeble portion of hash browns was good but was only brown on one side due to what I assumed was the cook heaping a pile on th griddle and flipping straight to the plate. Egg perfectly over medium. Thick texas toast fully buttered and crispy. Service was great as well with entertaining gossip from raspy voiced diner veterans. price was great, my meal being in the sub $10 range with oj[fresh squeezed in house] as a beverage.
Try their banana bread mini loafs, made fresh and $3 each
